I am gonna look at CL because its closest to MY house and sinc eI am ended up doing it , after like 30 years of waiting for someoen else to pick it up! I had it all planned back in 79, then my grama died and we all got togheter for funeral stuff, so we decided to wait a while, since it was planned for her birthday party.
so Now Im adult and plannign it for my own birthday HAHA< they just dont know it!
Ds9 will turn ten just before the date, and my b day is day before it, and I think I have a cousin then too so gonna find out and have a big cake with all our names on it!
we can have something for the kids to open if theirs are that week... so ds9 doesnt get outsted while I plan this thing last minute stuff!

Well that sounds like it will be a lot of fun. My family has never done anything like that! Our family reunions have always been just beyond boring. Keep us posted!

Tiffany why where they boring? tell me so I can avoid that, I want to create such a fun time that everyone wants to come back. See I have this dumb rep in my family of good stuff, so I have something to live up to that I never knew untill my dads funeral when everyone said "Oh I have such good memories of you!" and stuff like that... so now I have to live up to the good memeories haha! I want them to go away wanting more time with family... maybe next year, but better in five years or something I am thinking or maybe every other?

Well my family reunions were boring because most of my family lives close to each other. Not only do they all live in Texas but they all live in pretty much the same part of Texas so there was never a time that we did anything big or went anywhere interesting.

I grew up in a really small, really country town and reunions were usually held in a camphouse. We ate BBQ, played games like bingo and dominoes and if we were really lucky someone got a game of softball going. The older folks sat inside the camphouse chatting and drinking coffee.

I think yours will be fantastic and it would have been so much fun if our family would have gone to a different location. The most I traveled for a reunion was about 6 miles out into the country!!

We've went twice to Niagara Falls and stayed at Embassy Suites. The room overlooked the falls......it was gorgeous. It was during the regular school year so we had the entire pool to ourselves. Everyone had such a fun time. I dream of going to disney......but a local hotel is probably what we'll do this year. As long as the kids can swim, they're happy.
