I'm going to do some digging, but first I need to know ... did you actually join Barefoot at some point, or did you only consider it; and if you DID join, did you officially quit, or just walk away and leave your website running just in case? Barefoot rules state that you can't come back after officially quitting, but that you can take a break for as long as necessary. (Does that make sense?)

As a hs mom & working fulltime on our dairy farm, I don't have time for much but like everyone else, I could use a little extr cash.
Read where some have posted about Barefoot books. Is it really as simple as it sounds? No quota to meet? No timeline to beat? No out-of-pocket money? You DON'T have to spend money to make money here?
Sounds too good to be true. I understand that whatever you put into something, that is what you will it out of it. Is there money to be made here? Does it sell well @ schools? can you take a "sale paper" to the school to be distributed? (of course on site selling would bring more.)
I am interested & have viewed the site but I am, by life lessons, a skeptical person. I have trust issues.
    Any info would be great!
    Blessings!;)

One more ? To have the Barefoot books to have an open house or a showing, I would have to BUY them? Read something about a sales kit but I can't find a price. Anyone know about this?

MilkMaid: Barefoot Books does not have quotas or time lines to beat. You sign up for free and you immediately get a website. The website stays up and you have an account until you deactivate it. I signed up and then never did a thing and my website it still there. lol. If I had the ability to sell completely offline than there would be nothing to buy.

You would pay for an inventory to bring to shows. They also have order forms, flyers and such...sales aids for sale. However, you could print off your own stuff...like flyers or order forms. Buying the books in bulk could get expensive. However, I tried Mary Kay and spent $250 just to start....I regret not doing that for Barefoot Books as I am no longer a Mary Kay consultant. Mary Kay has quotas to keep your discount and you pay for the website and for their "propay" system which is like paypal.

If you can sell solely online...then do so! You will make money without putting any money in it. I am not sure how realistic that is though. I'd try it...can't hurt.

No, you don't have to buy anything to get started. The only thing that might cost you upfront are fees from your county or state to start a business. You need a DBA (doing business as) and you need a state sales tax license. You can't sell a single book in person without those (but you can sell online without a tax license).

Do do home parties, you can either borrow stock from someone nearby (preferably your own team leader if that person lives close), or worst case scenario, you can borrow books from the library (but IMHO, why would someone buy books if you've just proven to them that they can get them free at the library?)

You're welcome to sign up on my team even if it's just temporary. I can help you get started, and then if you'd like to find someone closer to you, you can transfer to another team. No hard feelings. ;) It doesn't really matter where you are, because you'll get support from my entire upline (CA, TX, and another who just moved somewhere in the midwest... can't remember where), and you'll have the support of the online forums. If you need help in person, though, it's best to have a team leader in your own area. That's not always possible, though.
