In July we'll have to take pictures with Jackie, Daniel's Mom, Crystal and me in Philadelphia, PA at the King Tut thing! Then we'll share with you!
 
Our next possible stop will be Memphis, TN.

Timkelmom, I live 35-40 min. from Memphis!! It's the closest big city and where we have to go to do anything. When will you be coming this way? Lots of Memphis attractions are free on certain days. If you decide on Memphis, I'll let you know what and when.

Bring your camera!
Mine is tricky. It works but it is give and take on the quality. Blame my DH who left my great MINOLTA camera out in the rain a couple of years ago. AARRRHHHH!

Nothing beats the picture of the "slide sleeper"! Thanks for sharing the pictures. I can't wait for Bill to see Elijah's picture. He is so excited to be his new pen pal. I would love to meet everyone on here also. Where did we say the center of the US was? Somewhere in Kansas I think.

I still say we meet up for a day!! I would be willing to make a special day of driving over to meet all of you!! I think Columbus would be a great meeting point. Although, I can't remember how far Canton is from Columbus. We really should think about it!
 
Canton's no further than you are. I think the farthest point from Columbus is the northeastern corner, and that's maybe three hours away. So what do you think?sometime late May or early June? We've got some great parks if the weather's nice!

I, for one, would probably not be able to meet until mid June or after. I will be leaving the end of May for vacation for 2 weeks. (can yo hear the diappointment? NOT!)

That would be awesome! Aaron is dying to meet Phillip! Jackie, he keeps the letters with his football cards! lol. That is quite a complement. He asks everyday when the mail comes if there is a letter for him! Drives me crazy! lol. The day he sent his letter he asked! Crazy kid.

Personally, I think the kids should have their own day and we should have ours...ugh...can you hear my desparation for a break! lol.

WOO HOO!!! I am!!!! I live north of Houston. It would take a couple of hours tops to get to Louisiana. Where abouts are ya?
 
Ummmm, anyone up to heading to the beautiful NW in Washington? I don't think I can swing a day trip to Ohio! ;)
 
We should have a west coast meeting and a central and an east coast... then I supposed wed need a TEXAN meeting for all them texans in this group?

Certainly is! Lebanon, KANSAS, to be exact! We just drove past the flag pole marker about two weeks ago, and it's still there! You're all welcome!

Yes, Deena, I'd love to come see your orcas and take a ferry ride! I showed your pages in the travelling journal to the rest of the family, and we'd all like to come!

Guess what! I'm no longer the only Kansan on this spot! Prof Mom and I could jointly host the Central States reunion. Here I was, thinking I'd have to hop a train to join some of you in your rendezvous, and for several weeks now there's been a neighbor on the Spot! What fun!

You mean you can't book the Concord? C'mon...where is your sense of loyalty? LOL. Ok...if you can't swing a day you surely have a week to spare. I mean if you can't get it all done in 51 weeks one more week won't help you anyway.
 
Ava, Phillip sent a card of OSU the other day, and wrote a letter today.

Perhaps we need to wait until August then, or even the beginning of September. The end of June has our CHEO Conference, plus my kids will be going to camp. Mid-July will be the Philly trip.

If anyone is coming to CHEO (AVA....?) let me know!!!

I will let Aaron know! lol. I told him that penpals do not write daily....geesh! Olivia laughs at him. Well...we all do really...but not just about this. lol. I think Aaron is just psyched because you live in his favorite city! lol

I completely forgot when CHEO is? Geesh. However, I think when I saw the dates it conflicted...I will check again. I would like to get someone to watch my 2 year old...she is not the most patient little thing. If she was as patient as she is cute I could take her to an insurance seminar but sadly that isn't the case. lol. Or maybe I can just come on a Saturday with the whole family... I will check the dates.
