I'm getting ready to head to the store. We're having T-Bones, Baked Potatoes, and a huge tossed salad. Those mint chocolate chip brownies sound good. I may throw them in for fun
We're having a smoked brisket that dh cooked all day today- poor guy is napping now. Collard greens blackeyed peas and cornbread.
You guys are making me hungry. We have worked all day at the house and we are having Sloppy Joes and chips. Elijah went with my son to watch 4 wheelers drag race and Gianna went with her mom, they should be back shortly.
tofu stirfry with carrots, onions, garlic, yellow squash, zucchini, yellow pepper, broccoli, and cauliflower. seasoned with a peanut satay and sesame seeds.
I have to say after posting in this post, I am a short order cook. Elijah had corn dogs, Gianna had chicken, rice soup and Don had a cheese sandwich, I didn't eat because we had a social after church tonight and I ate there (of course so did everyone else).
I had a big plan to make pinto beans and fried chicken and corn bread (did I ever tell you that I never lived in the south east??)--- just married a southerner! But the bag of pinto beans are missing so I'm thinking either DH will have to stop at the store and I can make it tomrrow or I'll make Zateran's red beans and rice with the fried chicken.
DH is cooking tonight and according to the menu thing he's using, tonight is: grilled pork chops, veggie rice, and a spicy cauliflower saute ... i don't eat meat but i'm looking forward to this cauliflower thing, the recipe sounds yummy!
We had cabbage, fried potatoes and onions, tomatoes & raw onions. It was easy to cook and good to eat.
We ate at Bennigen's. Okay I have no idea how you spell it so that is probably wrong. We had steak that was cooked wrong but we got it for free without even asking. Now I'm hungry again.
Tonight we had crockpot whole chicken, creamy parmesan noodles, sliced maters'n'cukes for the menz & raw cauli & broc for me.
We had LOADS of leftovers for big lunch at 1, so dinner was popcorn, cheese cubes & fruit rollups (for the boys).
We had leftover too!!! Kris, I love BLT's and sweet corn, sounds like a great meal for tomorrow. Of course, I will be the only one to eat the BLT's, nobody else like tomatoes.
