We had pizza last night. It was SO good!! Tonight we're going to have bbq chicken (made in the crockpot, not the bbq. )
I had a b/t sandwich. Bacon/tomato, can't have the lettuce. I love b/t sandwiches, especially if I can get a fresh, vine ripe tomato. Don and Gianna had a bacon/cheeseburgh and Elijah had a peanut butter and honey sandwich with a Klondike Bar.
My children eat peanut butter and honey with applesauce about 3 times a week. If they can't think of what they want, that's what they have, easy for me.
I made a new recipe yesterday for supper, so I'll share...it's easy and yummy, and the pepperoni gives it a wonderful taste. NOTES: Next time I make it I may add some cottage cheese for extra 'lasagna-type' flavor. Also, I think I will mix it up and top w/ cheese instead of layering it. Crockpot Rigatoni 28 oz Jar spaghetti sauce (2?) 12 oz Rigatoni, cooked 1-1/2 lbs Ground beef 3 cups Shredded mozarella 1/2 lb Pepperoni slices In crock pot, layer half of each ingredient in order listed. Repeat. Cover, cook on low 4-5 hours.
MMMM....tonight is grilled London Broil, asparagus and mashed tates. One of our house favorites! CANNOT WAIT until dinner!
I am going to make fried fish, Baked Beans, Green Beans and Fried Potatoes for supper tonight. My sister and her family are here from France and this is one of their requested meals.
We're going to have taco casserole, but we are going to have to have your crockpot rigatoni soon - it sounds great!!
Dozermom - I marinate mine in fresh garlic, olive oil, balsamic vinegar and worstershire sauce for about 5 hours. 2 cloves garlic 1/4 cup olive oile 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar (or white wine vinegar) 2 Tbs worstershire sauce Poke the meat (about 2 to 3 lb broiler) and marinate in a plastic baggie in the fridge. Every hour or two, shake it/flip it and put back in the fridge. We use an indoor grill (Hamilton Beach) and cook for about 8 minutes on high. Let rest 10 minutes (covered with foil) Slice on a bias. Serve and enjoy!
