No politics.. just curious if gas prices are falling where you are and by how much?

State your general area or city and what lowest prices are right now......

West Tennessee is $2.49-$2.51 at the mom & pop places....$2.54-2.61 at the major chains. My hubby heard at work that it was expected to go back down under $2. Never thought I'd be be glad to to see gas at $2/gal!

We saw gas at $2.48 this evening. Just wondered if anyone else has a horror story about filling up their tank. Our worst time ever filling up the van was $82.00, but I can't complain too much. That lasts us a long time because we don't have to travel often and everywhere we usually go is close by. We have to have a big van with all the kids and grands.

Your gas is so cheap compared to around here. It has been an average of $3.25 and isn't dropping.

We are in Hesperia, about 90 miles East or N. East of Los Angeles but we are in the high desert and L.A is the low desert.

You know, my sister was right!
When she was going to school to become a teacher, her teacher told her that California is the so happy that it could be it's own country and thrive with all the revenue it turns over in one day and be ranked the third or fourth most prosperous country in the world.
California is an expensive state. Even cheap runned down apartments are renting for $900.-$1,300.

Me, too! It cost me just under $50 to fill up my van. I don't fill up often. My dh travels throughout 4 counties constantly, so he spends about to $75 a week in gas. His travel expense check is the same amount that it was 3 years ago when gas was $1.50/gal. so gas has become a huge expense for us. I sure wish it would go back down under $2.

We are blessed because Handsome has a company gas card so the only gas we use is for my car. Otherwise it would be killing us financially because he can easily put 1000 miles a week on the truck. It is taking it's tole on many friends who commute as well. Some are paying an average of $350.00-$400.00 a month on gas. It will be a blessing to see it go down.

It's running in the $2.50's in central Ohio. AND it's a Holiday weekend! The news says it will be about $2 by Thanksgiving.

Cheap here in South Texas down to 2.33 a gallon. Don't know if it will go below 2 again but would be nice.
Yes, Emma I have family out in CA and they say it's very pricey to live out there.

Hey Trish, we are technically in Eastover but actually at pretty much at the halfway point from Cola to Sumter. This is nice because we are somewhat in the country but the cities are very close. BTW, the last time I talked to my sis in NY State they were still over $3.00 a gallon.
