I just checked at our Costco today and it was $2.77! What's with THAT?! I guess it's not gone down much since I got gas last time---especially since I paid $2.75 last time!!!

Ohhh, WA state has no state income tax, and license renewal is only $30-$60 per year no matter how much your car is worth. To raise revenues they hit us with one of the highest gasoline taxes in the US per gallon, plus property tax, sales tax and voter-supported levies.

So our gas prices will probably be going down very slowly if that really does happen! Rats!

We were traveling all week. the gas prices were downright weird! We left one town ($2.76) the next one was at $2.60, then the next $2.80? Then we got to Texas and even stations next door and across the street were vastly different. One place we stopped had one station at $2.77 and next door was $2.53. Can they all just not make up their minds or what? Usually stations near one another are pretty close.
