Definitely!! My dh works for a non-profit organization with a very modest salary. We live frugally so that I can be home with the kids. But, dh covers 4 counties and drives all day every day. The last time mileage was adjusted for him was when gas was $1.50/gal. His travel allowance doesn't cover his expenses anymore. Because of the gas price increase, groceries have gone up, too. I have noticed that most things in our grocery stores have gone up .20 to .40 since fall. It hurts us all around.

I got it for $2.68 at Walmart just now. I might have gotten another trip out of what I had in the car but didn't want to chance it being higher when I needed it.

I got gas yesterday in the next large town, 3.07 for plus unleaded. The same type of gas station- Shell I think- wanted 3.05 a gallon. Why the 2 cent difference? Then up in the next town, which is in PA, plus unleaded is 2.99 per gallon plus unleaded. I hate the pricing games they play.

    $2.99 in Tucson.

But it really effects sales in the stores too and even E-bay.

$3.11 without discount from Smith's grocery store.
    $2.96-$3.06 with either 15, 10 or 5 cent discount (depends on your grocery bill total , $30+ -5 cent discount , $50+ -10 cent discount , $60+ 15 cet discount PER gallon).
    Thats in Las Vegas.

    Look at this "Temperature Map".

It shows the price of gas as though it were a temperature. The DARK RED spot is where gas is the highest/ It is in California. Anyone live near there?

It is north of Fresno and East South East of San Francisco. Basicly the Merced, Yosemite Area, I think?

Thanks Jen, That map is very interesting!

Why is it that the west coast is highest? Cuz we're further away from the source?
