I was just curious as she hasn't been on in awhile. I may have missed a post that she would be off for the holidays. I did notice she sounded down on one of her last posts I caught and I have been wondering about her. Familiar faces stand out when they've been off for awhile!
I have been wondering about her, too. I know she did mention feeling down lately. So, I was a little concerned. Anybody know anything about our dear friend, Kris?????
I know that sometimes I don't pre-announce when I'm going to be gone. No "Lurker" needs to know that. Then when I'm back, I say that I was gone and what I did. Maybe that's what some people are doing that are usually here? Busy holidays?? I hope that's the case and nothing's wrong!

who is Adrianna?? (screan name) Also, almost every time we havn't heard from some one in a long time there seams to have been some kind of computer problems for them. I hope thats not the case though. I'd have to go through some of Kris' past posts to see if she mentioned going to family for the holidays, it seams she mentioned it, but I could be wrong.
I also believe I read somewhere that she would be out for a little while. Not sure where I read it. I also hope things are well with them!
Sheepish was another one I was wondering about. She is the one that started the "Getting to Know You" thread. I noticed we've reached over 1.000 posts to that thread!
I often wonder what happened to Skippy. Anyone remember her? And JimmieLu- she just disappeared. Swellmomma, my christmas club person, hasn't been on either, has she?
Becky, I just figured Skippy had too many problems with that gal she helped. Swellmomma has been here so rarely, I just figure thats how she is. I think JimmieLu is before my time. I know that Bunnytracks feels like she shouldn't be here since she put her boys in school. I told her she still would be welcome. I'll see her probably next week again before her boys go back to school. I think that we are all so friendly here that we really miss some one when they are gone. But geesh, I tend to talk so much that I bet it would be pretty quiet if I dropped out.
I think there are a few of us here that can hold our own in the talk category! :lol: Let's all just not drop out! That'd just be too sad!
Amy, JimmieLu was a preacher who came here. She went on at least one mission trip that I can remember. She offered to sing at our church, but our current pastor doesn't go for that. Our former pastor was always bringing someone in- it gave him the day off. JimmieLu also sent our church a puppet ministry script, but the lady she sent it to never used it. She was a nice person, Jimmie Lu was. Tell Bunnytracks to come back. This forum is as much about friendship as it is about homeschooling.
I was thinking about Jimmy Lu the other day! Several of us (me, Crystal, Heidi) met in Hershey, Pa. to tour the chocolate plant and to give Jimmy Lu stuff to take on her mission trip to Mexico. She went again the next year. Deena, weren't you considering going with her once? But we went through a season of bickering, unfortunately, and I think that was when she left. I'd love to hear how the mission she visits is doing!
From what I saw Jimmie Lou did not do her part in some projects done here and some folks got upset with her. Flat Stanleys and such from what I was told. Lorna
