Well so far so good. The pain is begining to go away finally. My jaw is still a bit swollen and sore but it's feeling much better. I still really need prayers on this smoking thing. I started smoking when I was 13 and I'm 31 now. I quit both times I was pregnant and once when I got sick and that lasted two years. I really want and need to quit. Dh smokes and now that I haven't been I see how funky it really is. He is going to try and quit too. We both know we need to for our health. Just keep us in your prayers please. You guys are great friends.
Oh mannn, YOU CAN DO IT! You have all of us on here to support you! Maybe you and dh can figure out how much you usually spend on cigarettes. Then save that amount and plan a trip to Hawaii or somewhere as your reward! This is awesome! PLEASE keep trying---it'll be better for you AND better for your kids!!! I'm praying for you and your dh and want to encourage you in your efforts!!!
Hey Hawaii sound like a great idea! However I would really like to save and get a travel trailer now that I have a vehicle that can tow one! Dh says we have to wait one year from buying the new car though before we can get one. See if I had the camper then my family could drive around to meet you all as we travel the country!!
Hang in there! It is tough, but it will be worth it. My sil just quit a few months ago and it was hard, but she made it. I know you can, too!!

No relief yet for me. I just got back from the dentist, I have 2 choices, go get a root canal, then go back have it ground and put a crown on OR have it pulled, its the 3rd from the back so it would show and he said its a major tooth for biting. $600 plus what the root canal would cost and thats my part of it!
pull it... not worth the root canal I had one three times on the same tooth and still had to pull it...
I'm going with pull it! Those were my choices too. Had mine done two days ago and it isn't even sore anymore. I still have to chew on the other side for a while but it beats getting a root canal. Oh yeah pulling it is WAY cheaper!

I think I am going to do what you did Amy U get them all pulled out and say enough is enough... I hate tooth ache
