OK, this is what he could get. Econolodge in Holland, OH at 44.99 or Quality Inn for $53.96 in Holland, OH. If my daughter is still working at the Comfort Inn, I can get the discount, but no one else.
The Econo Lodge and Quality Inn are on the same street. I say go with the cheaper one. lol. They are about 20 minutes from my house....not that you know much by that..lol. There is an apple orchard in that area. Not too far from the Bontanical Gardens really. With the expressway nothing is really all that far.
Are you talking about ariving on Thursday night and getting together on Friday, or getting together on Friday and staying Saturday night? Friday, Oct. 5 sounds good here! Oh, I was telling a lady in 4-H about you all. She's going to check out the site, and might come, too.

If we all drove in on Friday, we could have a full day and then drive home Sat. That would be Oct. 5 & 6.

Oct 26 and 27 are better for me.(which is the second have of #3) I know I have to work Oct 26 morning shift(I get done at 8:15). I don't think I have to do a pm shift that day. I will double check tomorrow when I go to my meeting. All the other days I have to work friday morning and night. So I would have to see about getting it off. I still would have to work out the tranportation issue. Any one else in Illinois?

Back up a minute! If everyone wants the 26th, that's OK. But let's talk about what we're going to do a minute. Ava was talking about somewhere that had a scavenger hunt sort of thing OUTSIDE. The 26th will probably be too cold to spend ANY amount of time outside. Also, if we do it that late, we probably won't be able to eat outside. I'm not AGAINST this, but feel we need to consider that. I'll go with whatever y'all want.
Good observation Jackie. When it's 90 degrees here, it's hard to think about the weather being too cold to be outside. We could possibly do the scavenger hunt and then go to an indoor place to eat and to socialize. Would your church be available for that Ava?
