We hit a near record, for us down here....
NEar 32 degrees for a low this morning!

    For lunch we are having...
Chicken broth, with cut up chicken, celery, black pepper, egg noodles. Instant chicken soup for six!

We've got SNOW coming down today....

Trying to think of a good, slow cooker, warm-you-from-the-inside-out type dinner!

    Brrrrrrr.

Chicken soup tonight. I made a stock pot full of it last month & saved a bunch of containers of it in the freezer. We don't have any of the noodles I generally use for it, so I think I'll cook up some elbow noodles for it. It's getting pretty cold here, perfect day for a nice hot bowl of soup.

    Well, I figured it out.

I tossed some italian sausage medallions and frozen ravioli's in the crockpot with sauce.

Hoping it'll all be done after soccer! I have it on high right now! :D

I made Spaghetti on Sunday and served it with salad and a baguette.

Yesterday I made Salmon Chowder earlier in the day and put it in the crockpot to slow-cook. We had to run my Mom to the airport right around the time I would normally be cooking supper. So, when we got home all I had to do was add cheese, let it cook for a bit, then voila! Supper time!

Tonight our son has basketball practice. Today is "Save-Your-Receipt-Day" at our Chick-fil-A, so we are going there for supper.

Not sure what I'm going to make for tomorrow night...I have my menu made up, but not sure I want what's on it. LOL. I'm in the mood for soup lately, due to the cool weather, but don't want to burn out my family on soup before the winter even gets here. I love soup 'cause you can sneak in veggies that my kids won't normally eat. ;)

Tonight we are having Lasagna, garlic bread and salad.

I am splitting the recipe up and making two smaller pans instead of one big one and taking one pan, one loaf of garlic bread and a small salad to our dance instructor and her mother. They are out of their house until Christmas due to Ike and have not had a meal other than fast food in a while.

That's nice Tiffany!! We ended up just having sandwiches. I had two with a stomach virus yesterday and thought we were through it. My littlest one got sick this afternoon, so my supper plans were delayed!

We had taco salad and cheese quesadillas and homemade salsa for supper tonight. The boys and I were out shopping for new snow clothes this afternoon and dh had a meeting at church tonight so we needed something quick and easy, but it was yummy, too.

    Hi
Tonight we are going to go to a local pizza place for supper. My son and daughter have their free birthday pizza and sundae coupons to use.

I can't believe my little boy will be 8 already tomorrow! My dd will be 5 next month.

After supper we are going to come home and carve our pumpkins.

I'm about to put some ground turkey spaghetti sauce into the crockpot, and some italian green beans into my "little dipper" crockpot. The kids and I are going to a pumpkin patch late this afternoon, and I want dinner to be ready when we get home. (Well, I'll have to boil the spaghetti, but I can handle that!)

I think I may make chili tonight. I may make it this afternoon then throw it in the crockpot until supper time. I think grilled cheese on the side sounds good...

Wow...that's a lot of birthdays in one month. I would be birthday out too. By next month I'll feel that way. My kids birthday's are 20 days apart. Then, we go right into Thanksgiving and Christmas it seems.

Happy b-day to the twins tomorrow!
