No, I don't believe politicians, be they Republican or Democrat, have anything to do with the prices.

No, I mean that, since your husband has the job he does, he probably has some "inside information" about the politics, etc. that I wouldn't have.

She wouldn't get mad at you Kris! How could she?! :)

Prices are still high here, so does "Bush" have more influence in this area? Either that or the politicians don't want their jobs bad enough to affect our gas prices!

Actually I have no clue whether they affect gas prices---either way, they're still too high for my liking!

Rachael comes by it honestly, I'm afraid! When her friend beat her out at the fair, Rachael crossed her arms, and put this silly mad face on and turned her back from the girl, saying "I'm not speaking to you ever again!" The girl kept trying to turn around to face Rachael, and she kept turning her back, saying, "NO! I'm not talking with you!" The girl's mom got upset..."Oh, please don't feel like that!!!"... I explained that she was only playing. I think the girl was aware that Rachael wasn't serious the whole time.

They're coming, I PROMISE!!! (I should make Rachael get on and type them in for me!) I had a Pampered Chef party planned for tomorrow night, and I've been trying to get ready for it. But the consultant and I had "issues" this morning, so it's been cancelled. Well, at least I got a clean house!

    New York Highest on Gas?

 Gas is still $2.87 in New York . It goes down about 2 cents a week. There was a post that Ohio had gas at $1.99 one day earlier in the week!

Ibeckwith, how far up are you? My sis and bil live near Ithaca, he's attached to Cornell through the Air Force. I grew up at the base of the Catskills, one of the towns that got the worst of the flooding this summer. My sis has been complaining that the gas was over $3 when we were down to about $2.60. We seem to be averaging about $2.15 here.
