Live Cam at Waterhole in S. Africa!

This IS cool! We love it. We saw the houses or buildings, too. Do you think people live there? It doesn't seem like they would.

 

We saw those---it's a compound, I think, where people that are on safari stay. So I'm thinking they can see things, and can do the remote camera stuff from there!

We saw a herd of elephants--at least 5! Cool! Plus gazelle, more zebras, and frolicking wildebeests. How great is this???!

Wouldn't that be fun?? Not anywhere close to being in the budget - we can't even afford to go to Ohio right now - but someday I would love to go to Africa.

It would be cool to go to Africa. But not, in our budget either! But I can dream!

 

I'd go in a heartbeat!!! I've only been to Kenya, not South Africa, but I could handle this! I tried to look up prices, but it was in some other monetary form, and they had no US option, so I don't know how much it costs. I don't know that any of us could afford it, but it's fun to dream!

I just saw a jeep drive by the waterhole, with flashlights or spotlights of some sort swinging around looking for animals, I'm guessing. I think it's a safari jeep!

Are those houses? I thought so, but Rachael says she thinks it's just the sun shining through the trees looking like lights on in houses.

Yeah, it when I connected, it brought me here and not to where I left off reading!!!

MARYLYN!!! You know we have The Wilds here in Ohio!!! So everyone can come up here this summer, and we'll all go "on Safari"! I'll even let you and Charles have our bed again (though Katy won't fit in the cradle anynire!!!). Just not in July when we're in Pennsylvania!

 

We just saw another elephant and we think a cheetah drinking at the watering hole! It was kinda dark but you could see it well enough. The kids said they saw something run by real fast, then when I came to look it was drinking. COOL!

 

I can hear voices again now.. If it's the safari jeep, I wish the guide would talk louder. LOL

 

I keep missing these things! I have it and check it off and on, but haven't seen any action since it got dark, and I haven't heard voices either, even though I have the sound on! Hmmmmm.

I thought there was always action at night near a water hole, but we haven't seen any! So I was going to ask you, Leslie, if you were being able to get schoolwork done now, since there wasn't anything going on lately?!!

 

Theres a little white bird in the pond right now. And alot of insect noise in the background, or night bugs whatever you want to call it.
