I know what they are eating for lunch...I don't have to worry about packing a lunch, and I don't have to worry about weird cafeteria options!
God is using homeschooling to make me into the person He wants me to be. Sometimes it's hard, but it's part of the refining process.
My son LOVES to learn. That's one of goals..not trying to stuff him like a Thanksgiving turkey full of facts, but to really instill a love for learning. Homeschooling provides this opportunity. In my experience (I was a teacher in my past life), public school sucks the love for learning right out of 'em.
"Sorry, that's right in the middle of school time" is a great way to skirt people who think that just because you stay home, you have all the time in the world for them.
