Oh....I love Thursday's. My eldest has gymnastics so we just "fend" for dinner most times! YEAH...no cooking!

We have lots of leftovers from earlier in the week - some chicken salad I made last night....some salisbury steak and mashed tates from tuesday night....and I boiled a bunch of eggs to keep them from going bad (today was their expiration!). So i made a bunch of egg salad! YUM.

    :D

Brats w/ cheese inside, sauteed onions & mushrooms on top in a hoagie bun. Chips on the side. Cherry cheesecake for dessert.

We're having split pea soup cooked with a big hambone today. I just lifted the lid to stir it.. Mmmmmm.... :D I made some lasagna for friends who just had a baby, and there was a little that didn't fit in the pan, so I had that for lunch. Yummy!

I would like to have potato soup...just don't feel like making it right now! LOL

I think something with garlic bread would be great!

We like to do that once in awhile as well. We don't usually have time for a 'big breakfast,' so it's nice to have all the breakfast fixin's for supper sometimes.

I'm making Sloppy Joes, green beans and chips or fries this evening for supper. My sister and her family are flying in from France tonight, so I need to do something 'quick and easy' so we can get to the airport. (they live in France and are coming 'home' for their annual visit - YAY!!!)

I am making soup today too! Beef vegetable, but I'm going to send it home with my mom.

We were going to have steak for dinner but its really suposed to be pizza night.

So I cut some beef for beef jerky (from the london broil we were going to have) and then made soup with the rest of the meat. I havn't made beef jerky in a long time! The beef is marinating. (terriaki flavor)

Wow, what a surprise, Gma! ;)

My dh chose to go out to Godfather's Pizza. They had a buffet: Salad Bar, Pizza Bar, and Pasta Bar for only $5.69! I thought that was pretty good compared to some other restaurant buffet prices I've seen! It was all very good too!

We got Freddy one of those big gas deep fryer things like you cook a turkey in for Father's Day. He wanted to do some fish so we had slaw, fish, hush puppies and french fries. It was wonderful and I had been wanting fish. Now he wants to fry a turkey.

Beth, I'll be down when you cook more fish, slaw, french fries and hush puppies. I just love fish. Elijah will be going over near Ashville for camp. He left this am and will be back on Sat. late. I told him to yell out the window when they get into N. Carolina to Bill. Did Bill get his letter?

You are all making me hungry, if I didn't have so much to do at home,I would just make my rounds. I am so tired of HAMBURGS. I did make a stir fry the other night. Not sure what we are having tonight. I think I will have pizza and Don will have one of his favorite meals. Half of my kitchen is on the first floor and the other half is on the second floor. This ought to be very interesting.:)

I don't know what we're having today, but I need to decide soon so I can defrost whatever meat I'll need! Maybe we'll have chicken....
