HEY!!! The steaks got put out to thaw!!! Though it may have to do with the fact that I ASKED him if he was planning on having steak for dinner, and.... Even then, I had to go down and find them for him! Of course, they were RIGHT where I told him to look.....
Last night was tuna casserole and peach cobbler (lazy man version). I think tonight we're having chicken fajitas and refried beans.
We had chicken delivered last night and tonight we will be at mom's house. I'm not sure what she is makingbut whatever it is will be good.
Change of plans (so what's new?)! He has to transport some furniture for my aunt, and the timing will mess up his making dinner. So we're having Sloppy Joes tonighht, and he can make the steaks tomorrow!
We had the crock pot bean soup/dumplings ABall posted. Ds gobbled it up! We had it for dinner last night, leftovers for lunch today. There's been some tootin' around here this weekend!
Ok well tonight I had 8 kids and so I was not to healthy. We had hotdogs and man n cheese.. I so needed to get to the grocery store but this is all I had. Tomorrow though we are cooking Steaks on the grill, (IN MICHIGAN) And it is cold out there. LOL It is my sons 10th birthday and that is what he picked... Blessings Lisa
Lisa, we're supose to be grilling steaks out tonight, too, in OHIO. And right now, it's snowing, for the first real time this year. And DH is stuffy, so we maly make them inside instead.
tonight it Pot Roast (pork) with potatos and carrots. Its already cooking in the crock pot and it smells so good!!
We are having roast beef, gravy, mashed potatoes and green beans. Freddy loves it all. I should make a dessert but Babyboy is here today and he wants to play.
We had leftovers yesterday, sloppy joe, hotdog, cheeseburger, just cleaned out the refrig. Today, we had our usual spaghetti

 He's coming up with excuses why he can't, lol! Actually, he's fighting a sinus infection, so I guess I'll accept his excuses! He's putting them on to broil now.
We're having spaghetti tonight, I think. My husband is fighting a sinus infection, too. Tell Carl to quit sharing with Charles, Jackie!
We had Spaghetti and a yummy salad yesterday. Today we're going to a friend's house to help them move some furniture, then have garden burgers for supper.
We will have tacos tonight. Made with Taco Bell Seasoning. Since my kids are young 6,6, and 4 we try to make them as spill-proof as possible, by laying one tortilla down and spreading the beans, then the meat.. then sprinkeling the lettuce, tomatoes and onions... then spreading the cheese and then laying a second tortilla on op of it. Then nuking it for a couple of secs in the microwave to melt the cheese. This holds it all together and we cut it like a pizza. They love it and it gets them to once again eat lettuce and tomatoes.... hee hee hee..... (Thankfully, they like salads so we do get greens in our diets...)
Last night we had lasagna, appetizers and salad...we were at our small groups church meeting. My dh and I lead a small groups at our church. Once a month the church is divided up in small groups and meet at one another's houses. I made a salad with grapes, tomatoes, feta cheese, walnuts, red onions, and that curly lettuce and spinach. This week we are having: Pesto, Salsa Chicken (had company last week and didn't have this so we are having it this week), breakfast night (again! ugh! requested by dh, what can I do? lol), lasagna (didn't know I was having it last night....lol), that should last two nights. This weekend, I am going to make pulled pork in my crock pot. Dh requested that....anyone have a recipe? LOL!
I think Amy posted one for me once, so ask her. I forget what I needed it for. I DO remember it was VERY GOOD! You can make it fairly easily in the crock pot.
there's lots of way to make pork in a slow cooker. One you can put it in like a roast add a can of cream mushroom soup and milk cook away. another way it cook it then when it's done take apart and add your favorite bbq sauce to it. or just cook it in the slow cooker with very little water so it wouldn't burn , season with lemon pepper and spices always good that way.
