Rachael is home. That means she has taught me to make/eat smoothies! I think that will be one thing that will help improve my eating!!! I even added cottage cheese to it today!

I am loving these fresh strawberries right now! Makes me feel like I am cheating on my diet because they are so sweet!

Had a little stall but finally dropped again. Eight more pounds to get back to where I was when I started gaining! I am pleased.

Starting Tuesday, the goal is a smoothie for breakfast, a salad for lunch, and a "regular" meal for dinner!

Anyone care to update? Come on Dana, inspire me some more. You got me on the ball when I read how great you are doing. I love hearing how you are all doing and I miss it. Any new ideas or milestones to share? New foods you have tried and loved (or hated). Somebody jump in and keep me on track! For some reason I am just hungry today!

I am not the inspiration you need. I lost my 10 pounds and meant to keep walking even if I went back to my old eating habits. Then, I got a cold and the cough lingered so that became my excuse. That and the fact that if you do not get a walk in by 9 am, you will melt into a puddle. See, excuses...

I haven't even weighed. I was getting too discouraged not seeing a weight drop even when I was exercising and watching what I ate. I did slack off but, just last week, I joined a fitness club, and have swum at least an hour every day this week. I'm really busy with summer activities, so I don't tend to snack as much during the summer. I'm hoping between the two, I'll start to see some noticeable differences.

I need help. I had lost 60 lbs and in the past 10 months I have gained back 35 lbs. My butt looks like 250 lbs of chewed up bubblegum. My clothes do not fit me. I gave away all my "fat" clothes when I lost weight and now I'm living in my nightgown because I literally have NOTHING that fits me.

Not that this is an excuse, but this past year was a tough one. I had to go back to work full time and put my youngest in school. I loved my job, but I missed my kids and really felt guilty that my little one had to do time in PS. I took off for the summer, but I'm not going back and my little one is back home, no more PS for her.

So I'm going on my 3rd week of being home and I kept telling myself I'm going back on my diet. I.CAN'T.DO.IT! For me, the mental part of the diet is the hardest and it doesn't take much to go from "I'm sticking to it" to "OMG THAT LOOKS DELICIOUS" and shove things in my mouth.

I'm turning to you ladies for inspiration! Help me get back on track and back into my clothes before I am forced to go out in my nightgown and wind up on the cover page of "People from Walmart".

And I'm not losing AT ALL! I'm walking at pretty much once a day with a friend, sometimes twice. I'm having a smoothie daily for breakfast, and the goal is a salad for lunch. But my weight will go down a few pounds, then back up. It fluctuates within 5 lbs.

I too am stuck. I have not been sleeping much in the last couple months. My kids have been sick and keeping me up. It makes it hard. But I need to get back in there!

My weight fluctuates about 5 lbs. too. I'd get so excited for a 2-3 pound loss, then the next week, it would be back up. My dh can decide to lose a few pounds and drop it so quickly! So frustrating, but I will say he doesn't do it in a healthy way. He tends to go to extremes by all but starving himself. Then he gains back 10-15 pounds and does it all again. I don't want to do it that way!! I want the weight gone for good!

That is how I feel too! I want the weight GONE FOR GOOD! I remember when I was about to turn 30 and wanted to lose the weight before my birthday. Here I am still trying to lose it and I will be 59 in October! I am trying though.

When I think of all the things my weight kept me from doing or made me feel uncomfortable doing, I could kick myself for not getting the pounds off sooner. I really think it is easier for me now because I don't have so many kids at home to feed and we don't keep as many tempting snacks around the house.

SNACKS!!! I've been doing SO GOOD about not buying snacks. Pretzels sometimes, but they're low fat. So they had Fritos on sale B1G1. Carl was in charge of dinner (hotdogs), and he wanted some. So I said OK, just this once. He went to the store, and came back not only with the two bags of Fritos, but he also got a can of bean dip (which he's the only one who will eat it!) and a can of cheese dip. We NEVER get dip like that!!! He got the cheese dip to justify the bean dip, knowing I like cheese. But I really don't do cheese dip, because I think it's mostly artificial food-stuff.

I love pretzels. I get the kind where I can have one ounce for 100 calories. It is about 53pretzels and they are a nice snack that lasts a while. Sometimes I have them for lunch with a salad.

My goal for today is to drink all the water I am supposed to have. I have been slacking off and I know better. I plan on having a goal each day this week and see if it helps me stay on track. I hope everyone has a great day!

Well, I'm BACK on this wagon.. Hopefully I can stay on track now.. I took a brisk walk of about 2 miles today and now I'm EXHAUSTED!! But it sure felt good! Just me, all alone with my thoughts.. I'll take that anyday.. The last part of the walk ended up being more brisk than the rest of it because my son called with his asthma acting up and I was trying to get back to my car which seemed to be a million miles away at that point..

For the month of July, I'm making a commitment to walk at least 2x a week and to drink more water.. I've been drinking lots of sodas again.. I can tell the difference when I do that.. Feel much better when I drink more water. :) At this point, I'm not even going to worry about loosing weight.. I still would like to loose about 20 pounds, but if I can get in the habit of living healthier, then that's better than what I have going on now.. I think the weight would come off on it's own then anyway.. Who knows, this may just be my weight from now on.. 115 was my weight for YEARS.. Always bounced right back to my original weight/size after having babies until I had my last one.. I gained 10 pounds and never could get rid of it.. And it just went from there..

I'm waiting for Mother Nature to arrive, and leave, and then I can start back up on my diet.

I ended up being very busy yesterday and didn't get on to post my daily goal, but I did great on Monday's water goal. I did great with the water yesterday too but fell short of my goal which was to go walk at the park. I did walk some but not like I had planned. Today's goal it to eat less carbs. I was up a pound this morning and don't want to see that start! I weigh every day and record it along with my water and food each day. I don't record my vitamins, but taking them like I am supposed to is also one of my goals this week, to make sure I don't skip any. So far it has been a pretty good week.
